2nd Week of January-a roller coaster week

Crappy start to the week

Not the best start for Mr or Miss Squid I'm afraid.

Mr Squid was still ill so Miss Squid plied him with coffee all day/ whenever she was making one for herself.

Meanwhile, Miss Squid had people trying to pin blame on her and tell her that she couldn't do what she knew she was more than capable of. She fought her case however it seemed that minds had already been made up rather remaining open to all sides of the story.

That said, Mr Squid did get some useful stuff done on Screaming Squid and Miss Squid certainly tried after attending to family commitments.

Ups and Downs

So, let's start with something positive, Mr Squid seems to be making steps in the right direction in regards to recovering from his recent bug. He's still not 100% however he is still giving 100% on all his projects.

Meanwhile, Miss Squid can't seem to do right by the people around her for love nor money. However, over the last few days she has come to a determination that she wants anyone in any kind of similar situation to take on board...

It doesn't matter what other people believe you can or can't do, it only matters what you believe

Cracking on & getting things done

Mr Squid got a longstanding project off his books today.

Miss Squid has had a better day than the last couple, however office politics (not Squid offices we would hasten to add) at play and that's not something Miss Squid really has the time nor inclination for. She'd much rather be cracking on with her job and getting results.

Knowledge is Power

Today, Mr Squid found a way to get Google to stabalise our SEO rankings as we seem to have been ranking highly for certain areas on one day and then other areas on another. With what Mr Squid knows now, we should start to see more stable (and hopefully higher) rankings across the board which we're excited about. That said, Mr Squid did exercise his right to have a social life this evening, however did crack on with some Squidalicious stuff afterwards, including getting some more designs over for the new Squid header.

Time to Double Down

Time to double down on Squid time as soon as possible and that's exactly what we did. Miss Squid finally finished what she'd been working on behind the scenes before passing out at her computer and Mr Squid carried on implementing his strategy to get us ranking consistently.

A Squidalicious Weekend

Great things always happen when Mr and Miss Squid put their heads together and spend time focused on Squid. As you may notice, we now have a megamenu in place, that's thanks to Mr Squid and his hard work. Miss Squid narrowed catergories down to 10 per section, however, this has already meant more apt and meaningful content for our readers.
We're also due to be published in several articles soon. These will give away our identities so, they'll be hiden in our content somewhere. Just keep an eye out for the golden squid on the social posts ;)
