Some even claimed to hear a loud groaning noise as he passed.
The St. Augustine Lighthouse in Florida is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl. The story dates back to 1873 when a two-year-old girl, who was the daughter of the lighthouse keeper, died in an accident. Since then, many visitors to the lighthouse have reported seeing a girl in a white dress, playing near the edge of the water, as if nothing has happened.
